Oceans are the largest water bodies in the world and fill the gap between the continents or borders the continents. There are 4 mighty oceans which constitute earth’s 71 percent. The oceans are divided into smaller regions as seas, bays and gulfs. The four major oceans are Atlantic, arctic, Indian and Pacific. The study about these oceans is called as oceanography. Oceans are the haven of aquamarine culture, and are the largest depository of minerals, than anyone can think of. But the water from the ocean is not consumable, as they are highly saline in nature.
